9 Months Pregnant!

I can't believe I'm 9 months pregnant, I'm going to be a new mommy so soon! This entire experience has been life changing, it really has. I'm so nervous to give birth, I rarely get any sleep anymore I'm totally exhausted. I just want to hold my new son in my arms and finally give him a kiss because Ive been waiting for so long. My stomach is so big now, all I can wear are sweat pants and my school polar, trust me, it's sexier than it sounds ha-ha. In a way I'm going to miss being pregnant. As weird as that sounds, because it's almost like only I can share something so special with Bradley and soon enough I'm going to have to share :(. Pregnancy really is a awesome thing, hopefully you all get to experience it someday!

My Surprise Baby Shower!

At 35 weeks pregnant my mom decided to throw me a surprise baby shower. It was so much fun. I was so shocked, I had no idea. So many people showed up, it made me feel so good, because it’s the first time anyone has ever gone through so much trouble to plan something for me. It was all girls, obviously, but my friend Patrick decided to come, he was the only guy there, he must have felt so awkward ha-ha. I got so many amazing gifts, I was so grateful. My most favorite gift had to be the tiny puma shoes for Bradley, he’s going to be so styling once he’s born.I really hope the doctors were right about me having a boy, or else my daughter is going to have to get use to blue for the first year or two of her life. I can’t wait to meet him..or her ha-ha.Only five more weeks to go, isn’t that just crazy?

Now A days, Us Pregnant Women Have A Choice

I wasn`t aware that now today pregnant women have a choice in choosing how they want to proceed with the birth of their child. Of course every decision comes with risks. My family doctor told me that I could proceed with a natural birth, or have an Elective Cesarean. For those of you who don`t know what that is, it`s a c- section. The only difference is, is that you take your own risks and understand the complications. I really did think about it for a couple weeks. I did some research and I tried to inform myself as much as possible, but at the end of the day there’s just way too many risks that I just don`t want to take. I have faith that everything will be okay, well I hope so anyways. Now the only thing to do is prepare myself for the many hours of child birth.

My Bus Ride Is So Bumpy

My bus ride to school is so bumpy, I can`t even begin to tell you. I feel like I’m on a vibrating chair or something. The school told me that they would arrange a cab for me to commute from school and back, but at 34 weeks pregnant, still nothing. I can`t really blame them they have lots going on, but sometimes I think they forget that it’s just not really all that safe. They tell you not to go on boats, ride horses, or do anything too bumpy while pregnant because it could be very dangerous to your unborn child. I`m not in too much or a rush, I have friends on the bus, such as my headphones when people get too annoying. Alright that was mean... at least I’m honest.

I Feel So Left Out..

All my friends are free to party and do what they want. I know this is such a bad thing to think about and I should be grateful to be having a baby, and believe me I really am. I guess it’s just hard being in high school and having all your friends talk about what a great weekend they had, and being able to do all the awesome things you use to do. I wish I didn’t think that way but sometimes it just slips my mind. I miss being a normal teenager. Being a mom will be great though, I’m really excited. Sometimes I just think my friends forget about me sometimes. While they’re out having fun. I’m sure there will be times were I will be able to go out and do the things I miss doing, like maybe getting my hair done, or my nails. I never realised how much my life has changed already, I can’t imagine how much it will after the baby is born. It’s scary to think about sometimes. I know I’ll be a great mom, and I’ll love doing it.

Pregnancy And H1N1 Virus.

Did you know that out of 40,000 people that got tested for this vaccine not one of them were pregnant? The news and other sources failed to inform me and other pregnant woman about that. I waited in line for over two and a half hours for this needle and finally when I got up to the chair I was informed of this. I got up and walked out. Would you put you and your unborn baby at risk? I sure as hell wouldn’t. Everyone is sick now days. That doesn’t mean your dying of the swine flu. I simply just wash my hands and eat a bunch or vitamins. IN every related death caused by the flu, all of them had underlying health problems. I still can’t believe that pregnant woman are being told to take this shot because we are at high risk but the reality is no one has even tested it on us. People should be informed of this and not be so quick to jump to the next best thing. The H1N1 shot won’t save you. Keeping clean and eating right will.

My Halloween

This year, I sadly didn’t go trick or treating. I did hand out candy though too all the little kids. God they’re so cute. They had some pretty funny costumes; one kid was jaws, ha-ha. How do you pull that off seriously? I remember once being a kid and going out with my friends. It was such a great time. Come to think about it. I went last year, as Napoleon Dynamite. Wow what was I thinking? I probably thought I looked so great; sadly the reality is I most likely looked like a fool. It seems like every year less and less kids go out. When I was young I remember so many kids, like too many kids. To the point were I would have to wait in line for candy. God I hated that. Especially when after all that waiting, I ended up with a plain bag of potato chips. At least give me some chocolate or something? I can’t wait to take Bradley out and dress him up in funny costumes.
